Flywell Flying Club, known as "Minnesota's Premier Flying Club", was chartered in 1963 as a non-profit social organization and it is the oldest flying club in Minnesota. Its conservative financial management has made them one of the most financially stable clubs in the state. Located at Anoka County Airport (KANE) it is approximately 20 miles north of Minneapolis under the KMSP Class B airspace.
All members are equal owners of four aircraft and a hangar.

Congratulations - Mitchell Lindsey

Passing his Private Pilot checkride in Flywell's C172, N734RQ

It was also Mitchell's 17th birthday.
Older brother Brandon Lindsey was Mitchell's CFI.
Norm Lindsey, proud father of both, tells us that Brandon's
students have a 100% pass rate on their checkrides!

Upcoming Flywell Member Activity
Steve Jambor is trying to arrange a tour of the MSP tower in February.

For any member that is interested in going on this tour, Steve is looking for your feedback. He wants to accommodate the majority of those interested. The tours are limited to groups of 8 and are only given Monday through Friday between 6am and 2pm. He is tentatively thinking of scheduling it for a Friday but will try to accommodate the majority of those interested. Please contact him if you are interested in the tour and what day of the week works best for you. Sounds like a fun time!
